What are the major advantages of paintless dent removal?
Paintless dent removal (PDR) offers several key benefits. It maintains your vehicle's original factory paint, which is the highest quality finish. Unlike traditional methods involving sanding, filler, or repainting, PDR is quicker and more cost-effective. This technique allows us to restore original parts instead of replacing them, thereby preserving your vehicle's integrity and value.Am I required to use the repair shop that my insurance company recommends?
You are not obligated to use the repair shop recommended by your insurance company. By law, you have the freedom to choose your preferred repair facility. Be aware that some insurance companies may engage in "steering" practices to reduce repair costs. Opting for an insurance company's "preferred shop" may require you to pay your deductible, as these shops are bound by the insurer's pricing agreements.
What if I have already filed an auto hail repair claim and received an estimate from my insurance company?
Even after filing a claim and receiving an initial estimate from your insurance company, we still encourage you to contact Dallas Family Dent for a supplementary hail damage inspection. Insurance adjusters often aim to minimize claim amounts and may conduct evaluations in suboptimal conditions. At our facility, we perform a thorough cleaning and detailed inspection of your vehicle using specialized lighting to identify all hail damage. We then create a comprehensive repair plan and coordinate with your insurance adjuster to ensure all damage is documented and advocate for the best possible claim on your behalf.
What if Dallas Family Dent's evaluation is higher than my insurance company's evaluation?
This situation is common. Insurance companies often provide low initial estimates due to cursory inspections. Your comprehensive auto policy should cover 100% of hail damage. We are experienced in negotiating with insurance companies to ensure your vehicle is fully restored to its pre-damage condition using our paintless dent removal process. What if I am still making payments on my vehicle with hail damage?
Insurance companies typically handle claim checks in one of two ways: issuing it to both you and your lienholder, or to you and the repair facility. Your lienholder will require proof of completed repairs before endorsing the check. Most often, insurance companies reissue the check in both your name and the repair shop's name, simplifying the process and avoiding direct dealings with your lienholder. This method is generally more convenient for our customers.
Do I have to worry about the dents or hail damage ever coming back?
Once we've restored your vehicle's original shape using paintless dent removal (PDR), the hail dents and dings will not reappear. For your peace of mind, our PDR services include a lifetime hail damage warranty. Will paintless dent removal decrease the value of my vehicle?
Paintless dent removal (PDR) does not decrease your vehicle's value. This technique doesn't require painting and preserves your vehicle's factory paint. After repairing hail damage, your vehicle will maintain its original, high-quality finish.
